Hi, I’m Madelyn Bauerly! Lots of people call me Maddie, and my loved ones call me Mads. When I picked up a camera, I realized how special it was to be able to set up scenes and capture subjects in a nostalgic way. Looking back on images is powerful, you can remember so vividly that exact moment and what it felt like, as if you were being teleported back in time. You truly don’t know the value of an image until it's all you have left of that memory. And that is how I fell in love with photography. Showing up for my clients has always been my biggest blessing and greatest honor. I truly believe I am doing what God intended for me, and I’m here to serve you.
An Experience Rooted in Connection
Most of your experience with your photographer is about more than just the images, it's about establishing a relationship with them. Making clients feel comfortable, happy, and confident about themselves should be every photographer’s first priority. The goal is to capture connection + relationships in a natural state, where you’re so used to a camera being present that it comes naturally to let go of perfection. With a style that is equal parts documentary and cinematic, I direct you when I see fit, but I usually prefer to build off of what is already happening, helping to create candid moments that feel fun & easy in the moment while still not abandoning you to wonder what you should do with your hands.
